EMC Announces VSPEX Private Cloud For Windows Server 2012

EMCEMC's VSPEX architecture to help organizations virtualize data centers and desktops, will beavailable as VSPEX Private Cloud for Microsoft Windows Sever 2012.

According to the developer, the technology is designed to speed up the time to implement private cloud environments and is certified for the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track program. The new VSPEX, based on EMC's VNXe storage systems and Cisco UCS servers, comes with a  set of applications to manage storage, automate management, replication, backup and security under Microsoft Windows Server 2012.

EMC will be offering the VSPEX Private Cloud for Windows Server 2012 configuration through its channel partners within 90 days of the launch of Windows Server 2012, which puts the expected availability date right about at the end of this year.
