20. Cash Flow

The movement of funds in or out of a business within a given period of time.

Significance

In general, if a company is said to be cash flow positive, it is increasing its liquidity, meaning its ability to pay bills when they are due. Operations or conditions that negatively affect cash flow are generally shunned.
