There is now a cloud-based anonymizer solution called Cloudnymous. Cloudnymous is a cloud-based VPN service to hide actual IP addresses, which allows users access to location-restricted websites by enabling a choice of countries to change the origin of data traffic. The service also promises ID protection and data encryption during critical events such as money transactions or communications. The company offers the service as a daily, monthly, and volume-dependent subscription. Prices starts from $0.15 for daily paid servers, $4.95 for monthly paid servers and $0.15 per GB for traffic paid servers. Anonymizer, the grandfather of IP anonymization, has also been transitioned into a subscription service some time ago and is an option to Cloudnymous. Anonymizer is offered for $80 or $100 per year for home users, and for $20 year as an anonymous email solution. The company also offers a business product, but has not released pricing.
